We are Rui Navarro and Sandra Freitas, and we work with German Shepherds daily in real-world environments through our company, TYR Protection Dogs, where we develop and provide family protection dogs for clients around the world.
Over the years, we have worked with dogs from birth through adulthood, preparing them to live in family environments with stability, control, and real capability when needed.
That hands-on experience gives us a clear advantage. We do not evaluate dogs based only on appearance or pedigree. We assess behavior, nerve strength, adaptability, and real-world performance.
This is exactly where we differ from what most people know as the typical German Shepherd.
Many German Shepherds from show lines are selected primarily for appearance, often resulting in physical and behavioral limitations.
